It is a low-growing, broadleaf evergreen shrub that has a spreading habit.
Emerald 'N Gold' Wintercreeper thrives in full sun to part shade. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate boggy or wet soils. It is ideal along paths or as erosion control. With support, it can climb and be trained for a shady wall.
